Here I am again, preaching to the choir, myself. But, I find it very therapeutical. I seem to be a reasonable person, and I agree with myself more often than not.
If I believed what Democrats say on TH about conservative Christians, I would have to just shoot myself because of the hate filled, racist, bigot, hypocrite they say I have become. Fortunately for me I don't believe anything Dems say, at least not when they are talking about those who disagree with them. Sometimes though, if you listen carefully, you will hear them being honest about who they really are.
If
there ever was a time for just ordinary citizens to stand up and be
extraordinary it is now. The Democratic Party has been taken over by
extreme Liberals and the Republican Party is being invaded by Moderate
Liberals. So where does that leave those of us on either side who are
Conservatives. I know you think, "what conservatives on the Dem side?" There are some believe it or not, my Mom is one. She really isn't a Dem anymore, she just doesn't know it yet.
This is the time to hold the people we
elect to higher standards. Making our voices heard by calling, faxing,
emailing, and letter writing to the folks who hold our futures in their
hands. Make them understand that they are there to serve us, we are
not here to serve them and that we are watching and listening to everything they do and say.
As long as we can be sidetracked by all the excuses and name calling, we the people will continue to be the ultimate losers.
